The Observatoire québécois de l’adaptation aux changements climatiques (OQACC) and Ouranos are proud to announce the release of the sixth module of the training programme designed for professionals in the built environment and land-use planning: « Climate Chage: Getting informed and Equipped ».
The OQACC and Ouranos have been actively involved in developing this new content, which is now available on Maestro, the learning platform of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).

This 3-hour module enriches the core training program for architects, urban planners, engineers, and any expert seeking to strengthen their skills and remain at the forefront of the best practices in climate change adaptation.

Title: Developing an Argument to Foster Stakeholder Support for a Climate Change Adaptation Project
The content includes :
- Concrete examples drawn from professional practice, presented with input from experts;
- Key concepts from communication sciences;
- Strategies to strengthen stakeholder support through coherence between messaging, context, and concrete commitments.
This new publication reflects the ongoing commitment of the OQACC and Ouranos to supporting continuing education within Quebec’s scientific, technical, and professional communities.
