{"id":8169,"date":"2026-02-17T15:19:45","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T20:19:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oqacc.ca\/uncategorized\/post-event-assessments-of-the-2019-floods-new-findings-to-guide-adaptation\/"},"modified":"2026-03-17T10:03:14","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T14:03:14","slug":"post-event-assessments-of-the-2019-floods-new-findings-to-guide-adaptation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oqacc.ca\/en\/uncategorized\/post-event-assessments-of-the-2019-floods-new-findings-to-guide-adaptation\/","title":{"rendered":"Post-event assessments of the 2019 Floods: New Findings to Guide Adaptation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The OQACC has just realised three new research reports on the 2019 floods in the Beauce region.<\/p>\n<p>These studies are part of the project \u201cConducting Post-Event Assessements (REX by its acronym in French) of Floods that caused damage in Quebec &#8211; Society Component (REX-SO),\u201d funded by the Ministry of Public Safety (MSP).<\/p>\n<p>The reports present the findings from the post-event assessements conducted in three municipalities that were severely affected by the Chaudi\u00e8re River flooding in April 2019: Sainte-Marie, Scott, and Vall\u00e9e-Jonction.<\/p>\n<p>Five years after the events, these documents provide an overview of what happened.
